Social media campaign for Doctors of the World

We developed the an Ebola campaign, raising awareness of the impact on pregnant women in Liberia. We gained good engagement rates on Twitter (over 2.60%),  Facebook and support from Doctor Chris Van Tulleken (infectious diseases specialist and TV presenter) who hosted a Twitter Q&A, during BBC’s TV special ‘Could I get Ebola’, alongside an influencer communications strategy.  The Executive Director said: “Green Banana Marketing helped us on the journey of addressing Doctors of the World’s low awareness in the UK – we were pleased with the audience insight research that was conducted among our supporters as this is key to building successful future campaigns. They defined key segments and developed a new creative campaign about our Ebola work in West Africa”.
